NIKOLAUS

Born in Austria, Nikolaus began his musical journey at the age of five, starting with violin lessons and giving his first wedding performance at just seven years old. Throughout his youth, he won multiple competitions and served as the first violinist in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Vienna.

Nikolaus continued his education at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (MDW), specializing in Mixing, Mastering, and Recording Engineering. He later pursued a Music Production Degree at the Los Angeles College of Music, where he further refined his expertise in the heart of the music industry.

During his time in California, Nikolaus collaborated with Gerrit Kinkel on notable projects, including the Jazz:||:Symposium concerts at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. A career highlight was their work with "Tim Davis and the Jazz:||:Symposium Orchestra" at the Oscars After-Party in February 2020, as well as the "Sinatra and the Sands" concert in September 2024.

Back in Vienna, Nikolaus regularly works at renowned venues such as the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus, collaborating with world-class musicians including Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and Dominik Wagner.

Beyond his professional career, Nikolaus enjoys cooking, carpentry, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. His passion for music and travel inspired him to create the YouTube channel NIKOLAUS, where he shares his love for violin arrangements in pop music while documenting his travels.

With over 20 years of violin experience and a decade of engineering expertise, Nikolaus is dedicated to delivering high-quality, professional results. His philosophy centers on helping musicians push boundaries and achieve their creative goals through collaboration, care, and attention to detail.
